I've lived here since I was five, when my parents brought our family to the Bradenton and Sarasota area, and I've never found a reason to leave. With a family more than 200 strong putting down roots here, the homeowners I work for aren't strangers to me. They're neighbors I run into everywhere, from the beaches to the new spots popping up to the old places I've loved for years.

Before starting Legacy, I spent over a decade with another roofing company, learning the trade from the roof down and the business from the inside out. I've sharpened that process from the first knock to the final cleanup and stay hands-on with the technical side, because I want every roof we touch done right for the people trusting us with their home.

For 11 years, I worked as a Registered Nurse. One of the most important lessons I learned during that time was that people make better decisions when they truly understand what’s happening and what to expect next.

Whether I was caring for patients, supporting families, or working alongside other healthcare professionals, my role was often part educator, part problem solver. My job wasn’t just to provide answers. It was to help people feel informed, confident, and comfortable with the decisions in front of them.

When I transitioned into roofing, the work itself changed, but that mindset didn’t.

Today, I help homeowners navigate one of the largest investments they’ll make in their home. Most people don’t replace roofs very often, and many tell me they feel overwhelmed by conflicting information, high-pressure sales tactics, or uncertainty about who to trust. That’s why I focus on education first. I believe homeowners deserve clear explanations, honest recommendations, and the information they need to make the right decision for their situation.

Ironically, one of the most common things I hear from homeowners is that nobody else took the time to explain things the way we did. Whether they choose us or not, I want every homeowner to walk away with a better understanding of their roof and confidence in the path they’re taking.

Today, I have the privilege of working alongside my brother and serving the same community that has given so much to us. We take that responsibility seriously, and we’re committed to treating every homeowner with the honesty, professionalism, and respect they deserve.
