We collect information you give us directly and information collected automatically when you use our website:
- Contact details you provide, such as your name, phone number, email address, and property address, when you request a quote, submit a form, or contact us.
- Project details you share, such as roof type, photos, and notes about your home.
- Automatic data, such as IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, and referring source, collected through standard web technologies.
2. How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Prepare and deliver your estimate and respond to your questions.
- Schedule, perform, and follow up on roofing services and warranty requests.
- Contact you about your project by phone, email, or text message (see the SMS section below).
- Operate, secure, and improve our website.
- Comply with legal obligations, including 10-Digit Long Code (10DLC) messaging requirements.
3. Calls & text messaging (SMS) program
Legacy Roofing SRQ uses phone calls and text messaging (SMS) to communicate with customers and prospective customers about quotes, appointments, on-the-way notifications, service updates, and occasional offers.
Your consent is optional and is never required to do business with us. You can request a quote, schedule service, and reach us without ever agreeing to receive automated calls or texts. Agreeing to calls or texts is not a condition of any purchase or service.
How you opt in
You opt in to calls and texts by checking the consent box on one of our forms (it is optional and is not pre-checked), by texting us first, or by otherwise giving us your number and asking us to contact you. When you check that box, we record your consent so we have a clear opt-in on file.
What to expect
- Program: appointment and quote messages, on-the-way and service updates, and occasional offers from Legacy Roofing SRQ.
- Message frequency varies based on your interaction with us.
- Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
- Opt out any time by replying STOP to any message. You will receive a one-time confirmation and we will stop texting you.

- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
We do not share your mobile information with third parties. Text-messaging opt-in and consent data, and your mobile phone number, will not be sold, rented, or shared with any third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. This applies to all categories of personal information collected through our SMS program. Mobile opt-in data is used only to deliver the messages you requested and to operate our messaging program.
4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed to run our business and serve you:
- Service providers who work on our behalf (for example, our messaging platform, scheduling, payment, and financing partners) and only to provide services to you. As stated above, mobile opt-in and consent data is never shared for third-party marketing.
- Financing partners you ask us to work with (such as Service Finance Company and Ygrene), only when you choose to apply for financing.
- Legal and safety purposes, when required by law or to protect our rights, customers, or the public.
5. Our own social media accounts (TikTok)
Legacy Roofing SRQ posts videos of our own roofing work to our own social media accounts. For TikTok we use TikTok's official tools (Login Kit and the Content Posting API) through a publishing tool we built for our own staff. The tool is not offered to the public, and we only ever connect the TikTok account that belongs to Legacy Roofing SRQ.
What we receive from TikTok
When one of our staff signs in to our company TikTok account on TikTok's own sign-in page and allows access, TikTok sends us:
- Basic profile information for that account: its display name, profile picture, and an account ID.
- Access and refresh tokens that let our server upload videos to that account.
- Posting settings TikTok provides for publishing, such as which privacy options the account can use and the longest video it can post, and the status of each upload.
We never see or store the TikTok password. We do not receive or collect information about people who watch, like, or comment on our videos; TikTok's own privacy policy covers that.
How we use it
Only to upload and publish our own videos to our own TikTok account, to show our staff which account a video is going to, and to check that an upload finished. We do not use TikTok data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not share it with anyone else.
How we store and protect it
TikTok data is kept on our own servers. The tokens are encrypted, are never sent to a web browser or phone, and are only ever sent back to TikTok. Only Legacy Roofing SRQ staff can use the publishing tool.
How long we keep it, and how to delete it
We keep the tokens and profile information only while our TikTok account is connected. When we disconnect it, our tool asks TikTok to cancel our access and deletes the stored tokens and profile information right away. Access tokens expire after 24 hours and refresh tokens after one year unless renewed. The TikTok account owner can also remove our access at any time in the TikTok app's privacy settings. To ask us to delete any TikTok data we hold, email [email protected] or call (941) 226-9200; we will confirm the deletion within 30 days.
6. Cookies & analytics
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working, understand how it is used, and improve it. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Some pages may use analytics or advertising tools; these do not receive your SMS opt-in or consent data.
7. Your choices & rights
- Texts: reply STOP at any time to opt out.
- Email: use the unsubscribe link or ask us to remove you.
- Access or deletion: you may ask us what information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by contacting us below. We answer within 30 days.
- TikTok: the owner of a connected TikTok account can remove our access in TikTok's settings at any time, or ask us to delete the TikTok data described in section 5.
8. Data retention & security
We keep your information only as long as needed for the purposes described here or as required by law, and we use reasonable safeguards to protect it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.
